Papa Gino's

FIRE SAFETY MONTH

An Annual Event For Everyday Safety

Each October, Papa Gino’s teams up with local fire departments to promote fire safety. The Fire Prevention Open House program, which has grown to include more than 100 fire stations throughout New England, demonstrates Papa Gino's real commitment to the community. The company provides press and educational materials that fire stations can use during their school outreach programs. They also provide pizza and activity sheets during the stations' open house events for the children who visit.

Since 1993, Papa Gino's Fire Safety Month has:

  • Sponsored more than 1,800 open houses
  • Donated more than 100,000 large pizzas
  • Distributed more than 1,500,000 activity sheets and educational flyers

"We work closely with New England fire departments to support their efforts to increase awareness about fire safety," says Rick Wolf, Papa Gino's CEO. "These open houses have the potential to save lives, and we commend those fire stations who donate their time to educate the general public."
